Standard not that good, but you laugh anyway because it's kind of stupid sort of comedy. It seems that Hayden Panettiere will forever be cast as a high school cheerleader.

It taught me a lot about the world's different religions. I can see how viewers might feel the "documentary" is a bit one sided, but at the same time it's Bill Maher's movie and if he wants to make jokes at other people's expenses, the stand-up comedian is going to make jokes.

Hava and I were scrambling to find a theatre that wasn't sold out when we came upon this little hole in the wall. I was skeptical at first because it wasn't stadium seating and these people sitting directly behind us kept talking. But then the tall couple in front of us left and the people behind us shut up once the film began, so win-win. Luckily, we read the book a million years ago and have terrible memory, so almost everything was a pleasant surprise. I had some trouble understanding their thick British accents, however.

We were initially going to see The Proposal, because The Proposal > Transformers 2, and expected Bruno to be packed. As it turns out, Bruno had some empty seats, albeit near the front. So we snuck in. Pretty funny stuff. A lot of graphic imagery. Slightly less humorous than Borat, in my opinion, but entertaining nonetheless.

Starring a pretty unstoppable duo. I enjoyed it a lot, and even the theatre's technical difficulties did not lessen my enjoyment.

Our options were Moon, Transformers, or the Proposal. And since that wasn't much of a choice, we saw Moon, which I've wanted to see for a while now. It was very interesting, kind of slow paced, had funny/quirky moments. After the film, I joked that they're going to make a sequel, but now looking at wiki, that statement is now truth.

We've been hearing great things about this movie. Kevin and Bean (and Ralph) said this movie did so well [already] that a sequel is already in the works. Naturally, I was slightly disappointed that this film did not live up to the hype. This is not to say that it wasn't a good film. It just wasn't constantly funny to the point where I was constantly laughing, something I've come to expect since Pineapple Express or I Love You, Man.

I bought this over a year ago while waiting in line for a screening of the Hulk. Some time during my trip to Japan/Hong Kong, I finally finished it. I think it was during our layover in Japan, waiting to come back to the States. Which was very apropos, because the last chapter(s) of the book dealt with David Sedaris living in Japan. For this reason, I liked the end of his book much more than the rest. Obviously, he wrote about Japan from a Westerner's point of view, and I related to that. I was able to see some of his hilarious observations first hand. However, some of his remarks felt a bit too racist even for me. All in all, I would say this was an okay read. I enjoyed his previous works much more.

Chalk

We were originally going to see Up, but it was sold out *fist shake*, and The Hangover was packed *fist shake*, so Terminator it was. As a whole, I don't think the movie was so terrible. It was action packed, and there were some major plot holes, but it was a fun movie nonetheless. It was less than 2 hours, so even if you thought it was bad at least it was short. It wasn't as bad as say Wolverine. Looking at IMDB now, how funny that I recognized Anton Yelchin in this film from Charlie Bartlett, but I didn't recognize him in Star Trek. Guess that accent really makes a difference. The biggest plot hole that I can think of is why sacrifice a cyborg soldier for a regular human soldier?

What a boring movie, much like M. Night Shyamalan's previous works. It had an interesting premise, but that's all it had. Whenever Marky Mark spoke, I was reminded of Andy Sandberg's impression of him on SNL because it's quite spot on.
